Meet the team!
Hi folks! Marilla here! While I’m away taking care of our two newest additions at the shop I wanted to take this moment to highlight the team that keeps things running smoothly at Marilla’s whether I’m present or not! I couldn’t have ever dreamed of bringing Marilla’s to life without their help and every day this group of people makes Marilla’s Mindful Supplies a better place. We can do so much because of THIS magnificent mindful CREW!
Hallie: Hallie is our South Ave location manager! She joined the team a couple years ago and I don’t know what we ever did without her! Her attention to detail when it comes to making the shop look and feel lovely is unmatched and she has a knack for connecting with the community and cheering people up with her smiling face and can-do attitude towards mindful living and plastic free products! Hallie loves a coffee from our neighbors at Mercury, thrifting, and her cat Louise! 💗 ☕️ 🐈 
Heather: Heather is our Geneva location manager! Coming up on her first year at Marilla’s it feels like she has always been a part of the team. Heather brought more energy, empathy, and organization to Marilla’s from day one! She’s always ready to tackle a project, talk about what we do at Marilla’s to new faces, and bring plastic free products to folks at Marilla’s and beyond with enthusiasm for community events and connections! Find her adventuring with her pup Luna, enjoying the lake all summer, and whipping up killer salads! 
Suzanne: Acting as our purchasing manager and email designer behind the scenes, (you may catch a glimpse of her in-store helping us too!!) Suzanne makes sure our shelves are filled with plastic free products and keeps in touch with all our suppliers!(which number over 100!) She fearlessly tackles computer jobs that turns Marilla’s brain to scrambled eggs, and keeps emails like this popping into your inbox more frequently than Marilla’s once in a blue moon method ever could! She plays the ukulele, loves time in her kayak, and making ravioli for people she loves! 🎶 🌊 🧑🍳
Joe: Our lowest paid employee (read: completely unpaid) is my husband! Though rarely seen Joe keeps the dollars and cents in line at the shops making sure our books stay organized and our taxes get paid! He also happens to be the resident cleanup crew, disaster relief, forklift, engineer, and amateur carpenter 😎
Libby: Libby is our newest team member in Rochester! Joining us to lend Hallie a helping hand, she has jumped into the mountain of jar washing, inventory sorting, deodorant bucket cleaning, and every other task with enthusiasm and a smile! We’re still getting to know her but she has been a joy to have while the new babies take Marilla’s attention this spring!
Lulu & Dot : ok, I lied. Lulu & Dot are our two NEWEST team members.
Lulu brings energy and a pluck to Marilla’s and is not afraid to vocally advocate for her needs and the needs of the biz (mostly hers). She enjoys long walks and being sung the national anthem on repeat. 
Dot, with a calm grounding vibe, is a critical thinker who loves to ponder the puzzles of plastic free living. She appreciates hours of snuggles and her glass baby bottle. 🍼
